Other Activities
Ride: Grab a map from reception and head out on a bike to explore the stunning countryside. We have mountain bikes and cruiser bikes.
Caves: Paradise cave, Dark cave and Phong Nha cave can be accessed without a tour. The boat station for Phong Nha cave is a short walk from Easy Tiger. We have a briefing most mornings so that you can get together as a group and share the cost of the Dragon boat that takes you up the river and into the cave. Add on a trip to Fairy cave whilst you are there for a small extra charge.
Paradise cave is in the national park and is accessible if you have a motorbike or scooter (if not, check out the National Park Tour or take an Easy Rider tour with a scooter and licensed driver)
Visit: Take a ride out to the “Pub with Cold Beer” for an amazing chicken lunch prepared fresh while you relax in a hammock with a cold beer or swim in the river. They have vegetarian options too and the best peanut sauce in the world (probably). Ask reception for map, bicycle (charge applies) and directions. A bit further up the road is the Wild Boar Eco Farm, where they also serve food and cold beer in an idyllic rural setting with views over the river.
Easy Rider Tours:- A safe and low cost option with a scooter and driver to take you to the caves and attractions. Speak to reception about getting a scooter with a driver to take you out for the day or part of the day.
Eat: Grab a bite to eat or a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Ask reception for advice on the best places to go as there are plenty of options!
Visit: Check out the small war museum in town, towards the Ho Chi Minh Highway
Mountain Bike: Talk to us about Pvt Shi’s Mountain biking tours now offered from Phong Nha!
Motorbike Tours: Talk to us about going to Khe San or Hue on rented motorbikes or with a tour guide on your bike.
